A meeting with my old Professor of Wotnot at the ‘Peveril of the Peak.’ I am less than one hundred percent but it is good to see him. I hadn’t realised that the pub was named after a novel that Sir Walter Scott is currently writing. Prof. Groove’s own work-in-progress is a political epic about the founding of the Labour Party last October. My fellow alumnus Blinky later joins us and, once Groove and Mrs Groove, have departed tells me of his Dungeons & Dragons adventures as well as the re-enactment society of which he is a leading light (over Summer he was a Legionary in a Chester children’s camp, this month a wooden robot from the future).
